It's Springtime in Texas!

I don't know about you, but I love Texas wildflowers! I posted a few new items to my Etsy shop today. One of my favorites is this little barn, which is so recognizable in the Texas Hill Country, or anywhere in Texas, for that matter. The original is available at Hanson's Art and Frame on Memorial Drive in Houston, and I am offering matted reproductions in my Etsy shop. I hope you will click over and take a look at my shop. The wildflowers only last a short time, but you can purchase a memory to be displayed in your home or office and enjoyed for many years!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your paintings, especially the "azaleas" one ... I cannot imagine how you can paint with such amazing detail! Love the barn too ... great colors!
Oh my gosh, the blues in this painting are amazing. Wish we had spring flowers like that here in CA. Gorgeous illustration.
Thanks, Leslie! It mostly takes patience to paint detail, I guess. Sometimes I wish I had a looser style....the grass is greener syndrome!
Thank you, Cathe! I do love springtime in Texas, especially the Hill Country.

Thanks, Heather! Yes, the wildflowers are really awesome here in springtime. And I do enjoy visiting Florida. Been a couple or 3 times, and you're right, great beaches, for sure!
Found you on etsy, Becky. Your work is beautiful. I am such a watercolor floral addict!
Hi Angela,
I looked at your Etsy shop, and you have wonderful work also! I hope you will check back often. I hope to post new paintings as often as possible. I love to paint flowers, and spring is really bursting out all over here in Texas!
Thanks for hearting my Etsy shop. This landscape is lovely watercolor. It is so "Texas" hill country even though I haven't been there in years.
